Dual Booting W8 and Ubuntu

Dual Booting W8 and Ubuntu

I have an HP Envy 15 TouchSmart laptop with Windows 8 pre-installed. I
wanted to dual-boot W8 and Ubuntu, so I burned an Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit DVD.
I booted from my DVD drive, installed Ubuntu 12.04 (created a partition
through the install DVD for Ubuntu and chose "install alongside Windows
8"), and everything seemed to go correctly. It told me to restart my
computer and remove the DVD from my DVD drive to access Ubuntu.
However, I can only boot into Windows 8. There is no dual-boot window
giving me an option to choose between W8 or Ubuntu when my computer boots.
I disabled fast shutdown/startup via "powercfg /h off" since I read this
can cause issues when dual-booting.
What can I do to safely dual-boot between W8 and Ubuntu instead of booting
straight to W8? I'm fairly computer literate, but I'm not too familiar
with operating systems and such, so please keep that in mind if possible.
Thank you!
